Standard
1. ISO 12127-1:2015
- Title: Clothing for protection against heat and flame — Determination of contact heat transmission through protective clothing or constituent materials — Part 1: Contact heat produced by heating cylinder
- Content: This standard specifies the method for measuring the thermal conductivity of protective clothing or its materials using a heating cylinder to simulate high temperature contact (100°C to 500°C). During the test, the calorimeter contacts the heating cylinder at a speed of 5mm/s, applies a force of 49N, and records the time required for the temperature to rise by 10°C.
- Current status: It replaces ISO 12127-1:2007 and is the current valid version.
2. EN ISO 12127-1:2015
- The version adopted by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) is consistent with the content of ISO 12127-1:2015 and is applicable to the European Union.
3. DIN EN ISO 12127-1
- German standardized version, also based on ISO 12127-1:2015, used for testing and certification in Germany and German-speaking countries.
