ISO 9185 Molten Metal Splash Resistance Tester is designed, developed and manufactured according to ISO9185-2007. During the test, a proper amount of molten metal splashes onto a sample placed at a certain angle. A PVC film is attached to the back of the sample to contact it. The damage is evaluated by recording the changes in the PVC film after the splashing process. Based on the test results, the test is repeated with a larger or smaller amount of metal until the damage to the PVC film is minimized.
