Flammability Limit Test Chamber ASTM E681
Product Description
Flammability Limit Test Chamber
Flammability Limit Test Chamber, in accordance with ASTM E918, is used to determine the lower and upper concentration limits of flammability of combustible vapor-oxidant mixtures at temperatures up to 200°C and initial pressures up to 1.38 MPa (200 psia).
A proportion of the test premixed gas is introduced into a steel pressure vessel at a controlled temperature and pressure, and an ignition wire is used to try to ignite the mixture and to determine if the gas is ignited from the resulting pressure change. The flammability limits of the gas are confirmed by varying the concentration of different gases, including the Lower Flammable Limit (LFL) and Upper FLammable Limit (UFL).
