Wire and cable fire resistance tester and the bunched cable vertical flame tester have completed final quality inspection and packaging and are officially on their way to our client in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Wire and cable fire resistance test equipment:

• Core Function: Simulates the high-temperature environment of a real fire scenario, evaluating the fire integrity (circuit integrity) and insulation performance of cables under specified flame temperatures (e.g., 750°C, 850°C, 950°C, and even higher) and durations (e.g., 90 minutes, 120 minutes, and 180 minutes).
  

• Test Standards: Complies with and is widely used in international and regional fire resistance test standards such as IEC 60331, BS 6387 (CWZ category), and GB/T 19216.
  

• Importance: This test directly affects whether critical circuits (such as fire alarms, emergency lighting, and smoke exhaust systems) can maintain continuous power and normal operation in the event of a fire, making it a core test for ensuring the safety of life and property.
  

Bunched Cable Vertical Flame Tester:

• Core Function: Evaluates the extent of flame spread along the bundle (flame propagation height/length) and the self-extinguishing ability of multiple cables installed vertically under a specific ignition source.
  

• Test Standards: Primarily used in accordance with the IEC 60332-3 series (e.g., IEC 60332-3-10, -21, -22, -23, -24, -25), BS EN 50399, GB/T 18380.3, etc. Capable of testing different flame retardancy categories (A, B, C, D).

• Importance: This test realistically simulates the fire risk of densely installed cables in shafts and cable trays. It is a key indicator for evaluating cable flame retardancy and preventing rapid flame spread within bundled cables.
